About Wendell Stam

After a lifetime spent wrenching, selling, and breathing bikes, (and 10 years as a shop owner), I decided that my life will, and hopefully always will, revolve around bicycles. This project is a development of a deep appreciation for the inherent (and often overlooked) beauty and design that lives within the engineering of bicycles. Many people just see a nut, cog or a bolt, somewhere down the line I began to see that these were not just engineered, but designed by someone…a real live someone!

This has become my driving passion, finding, revealing, and presenting these forms and designs as functional pieces. I have only been doing this for a short time and my viewpoint keeps growing and refining. I love making these fun things, and sincerely hope that you will appreciate and share these pieces in your home, office, or wherever you roam…

BicyclArt has been shown at various art and bike shows in the Western U.S., including the Jackson Art Show, and there are many others scheduled. Give me a call if you’d like to know where I will be next.
